Issue Description
When making in-app purchases from managed applications, users see "Purchase Disabled - Your devices settings do not allow you to access in App Purchase, please change the setting and try again."
Troubleshooting Steps
Due to the reclaimable nature of volume purchased, managed apps, in-app purchases are not supported. If in-app purchases are needed:
Have the user download the app from the app store directly instead of deploying the app from Jamf. Note: managed Apple Account's cannot make in-app purchases either, so the device must be using a regular Apple Account. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT205918
Contact the app developers regarding specialized versions of apps within Apple Business Manager to allow for MDM management.
In some cases, these in app purchases function through subscriptions. Create the account/pay for the subscription on the web and then sign into the subscription account on the managed app.
