Description
In Jamf School apps can be set to automatically reinstall when deleted by users. This behavior is controlled by global settings but can also be adjusted for individual apps.
Configuring Automatic Reinstallation of Apps Behavior
Global Setting for App Reinstallation
In Jamf School go to Organization > Settings.
Under General, scroll to Apps and Documents.
Verify the setting to "Automatically reinstall apps removed by user."
Click Save at the bottom of the page.
Individual App Settings
As noted in the image above the global setting can be overwritten, so we want to confirm the setting under the individual app record as well.
In Jamf School go to Apps > Inventory.
Select the app you want to modify.
Locate the Reinstall this app when it's removed by the end-user setting and click the dropdown box to select your desired setting.
Click Save at the bottom of the page.
