Description
There have been updates to the Jamf School login window and login experience.
New Jamf School Administrator Accounts: Starting January 7, 2026, all new Jamf School administrators will need to login to Jamf School using either Jamf ID or using an identity provider integration from Jamf Account.
Existing Jamf School users: Depending on your region, you can use Jamf ID, an identity provider integration in Jamf Account, or a local Jamf School account to log into Jamf School.
Please be sure to navigate directly to your instance url and avoid using https://login.jamfschool.com to avoid extra authentication steps.
Creating a Jamf ID
If you don't have a Jamf ID already, follow the steps below to create one and then log in to your Jamf School Instance. To link an existing Jamf ID or identity provider email to an existing Jamf School local account, see Assigning Administrator Access.
Go to Jamf Account Portal.
Click on Create a New Jamf ID.
Enter the following information:
Name
Email Address (Use your organizational email)
Password
Timezone, Language, and Country
Verify your email address:
Check your inbox for a verification email from Jamf.
Click the verification link to complete the account setup.
Log in to Jamf School from your specific Instance URL:
[yourorganization].jamfcloud.com/dashboard.htmlDo not use:
https://login.jamfschool.com— This may cause redirect issues.
Assigning Administrator Access
If you are updating your login to use a new preferred email address, you will need to add it as an administrator in Jamf School.
In Jamf School, go to Organization > Administrators > Accounts.
Either update an existing user or click + Add Administrator.
Enter the new email address you want to use.
Ensure the System Administrator role is selected.
Click Apply.
Note for any administrator invites that were sent and not accepted prior to January 7, 2026:
It is expected that these invitations may no longer show in Jamf School.
The invitation will need to be re-sent.
The new administrator must have a Jamf ID if your organization does not have an identity provider integrated in Jamf Account linked to your Jamf School instance.
