Description
If logging in to Jamf Account with a Jamf ID, you have the option to enable MFA for your Jamf ID to add an additional level of security.
If you do not have your device that is setup for MFA or if you are completing the MFA request but it is not being accepted by Jamf Account, you will have to use an alternative option to log in to Jamf Account.
This article provides steps to be able to log in to Jamf Account and work with Support to regain access to your Jamf ID.
Use the Security Code from Jamf Account
When you enabled MFA, Jamf Account provided a recovery code which can be used if you are not able to access the device you setup MFA with.
To log in using the security code instead of MFA through your setup device:
At the Jamf Account login page, fill in your email and then your password when prompted.
On the Verify your Identity screen click Try another method.
Select Recovery code.
Enter your recovery code provided by Jamf Account when you enabled MFA. Click Continue.
Work with Jamf Support
If you do not have the recovery code, email support@jamf.com from the email associated with your Jamf ID to work with Jamf Support to get access to your Jamf ID with MFA enabled.
