Description
“Sign into your iTunes to allow [Jamf-Pro-hostname] to manage and install apps” prompt on iOS devices when trying to deploy an app is an indicator there are no licenses for the app. This article provides steps to deploy the application with licenses so users are not prompted for an iTunes sign in.
Instructions
Pre-requisite:
Licenses for the application in question must be obtained from Apple Business or Apple School Manager.
Managing and Installing Apps
Log in to Jamf Pro.
Click on Devices.
Select Mobile Devices Apps.
Click on the app in question.
Select Managed Distribution.
Click Edit.
Enable the Assign Content Purchased in Volume checkbox.
In the lower right, click the Save button.
