If we are able to purchase licenses for the application within Apple Business or Apple School Manager:

Once we have the applications listed in Jamf Pro we would want to make sure to configure managed distribution for the application along with making sure the checkbox is checked for convert unmanaged app to managed. This would allow the Jamf Pro server to install a license for that application and take over management control for the application. This would also allow the ability to uninstall the application from Jamf Pro if we ever needed to.

If we are unable to gather licenses for the applications in Apple Business or Apple School Manager and the end users deleted the application from the device but would need to reinstall, we would have to navigate to the application in the app store on the device and click the cloud download icon to reinstall the application.
