App installer stuck at "in progress" status with Jamf Pro

Issue Description

App Installer deployment is stuck "in progress."

Troubleshooting Steps

Deployment via App Installers may take more time than previous app deployment methods such as patch management. App installers will try to install 3 times, once every six hours, before switching to a 'failed' status.

If during your App Installer deployment, you are seeing the App Installer is stuck at "in progress," please note how long the installation has been in progress and give it more to retry. Once it has failed, you can retry the deployment.
