Some or All of Your Packages are Missing (showing as Availability Pending)

Issue Description

If you are seeing packages suddenly missing/showing Availability Pending in Jamf Pro, this could be due to issues with the Jamf ID used to sign into the Cloud Services Connection in Jamf Pro, which is part of the calculation used to determine which packages are available from the Jamf Cloud Distribution Server. If the Jamf ID in use is not tied to the right organization within Jamf Account, packages can move into "Availability Pending" status and no longer be available for distribution.

Troubleshooting Steps

To determine if your Jamf Pro instance has fallen in to this state, please DO NOT re-enable the Cloud Services Connection as a first step. Instead, please do the following:

  1. Step 1:

    1. Using the Jamf ID you last signed the Cloud Services Connection, sign in to https://account.jamf.com and verify that you see the correct products and information about your organization. If the contents here are correct, please proceed to step 2.

    2. If they are not correct, please contact Jamf Support to have your Jamf ID corrected. Please note that if you used a personal or non-work email to log in, you are likely impacted by recent changes to Jamf Account. Jamf Support can assist with this situation, but you will be required to use a work email to log in to Jamf ID moving forward.

  2. Step 2:

    1. Re-enable the Cloud Services Connection in Jamf Pro using a Jamf ID that shows the correct Assets in Jamf Account.

    2. In Jamf Pro, go to Settings > Global and click Cloud Services Connection.

    3. Click Disable.

    4. Click Enable Cloud Services Connection.

    1. Navigate to Settings > Server > Cloud Distribution Points and taking care not to make any other changes, click Edit and then click Save. It is very important not to make any other changes on this page in this process!

    2. Once this is complete, package records should begin moving out of the "Availability Pending" status, although this process can take up to 2 hours. If, after 2 hours, not all the necessary packages have become available, please contact Jamf Support.
