No option to upload package in Jamf Pro

Issue Description

Packages can be uploaded to a cloud distribution point in Jamf Pro under Settings > Computer management > Packages. This article provides steps for cases where there is no option to drop a file or browse for a file.

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. Verify a cloud distribution point is configured as the principal distribution point in Jamf Pro under Settings > Server > Cloud distribution point.

    • If using a File Share Distribution Point as your principal distribution point, use Jamf Sync to upload the file instead.

  2. Verify it shows Connection enabled under Settings > Global > Cloud Services connection.

  3. Ensure the activation code in Jamf Pro under Settings > System > Activation code matches the activation code in Jamf Account under Solutions > select View details for Jamf Pro > Licenses.
