Editing a Jamf Pro Blueprint

Description

Blueprints in Jamf Pro allow you to send management settings to devices using declarative device management (DDM). The list of configurations available in blueprints and their requirements can be found in the Blueprints Documentation.

We can edit the following items in a blueprint:

  • Blueprint name

  • Blueprint description

  • Specific configuration settings

  • Blueprint scope

Editing Your Blueprints

  1. Click Blueprints in the sidebar.

  2. If not already selected, click the My blueprints tab.

  3. Locate the blueprint you want to edit and click Open.

  4. Made desired changes to the blueprint:

    • To edit the name or description of the blueprint:

      1. Click ⋮ in the top-right and click Edit details.

      2. Edit the name or description and click Save.

    • To edit a component in the blueprint:

      1. Hover over the component and click Edit.

      2. Edit the settings as needed, and then click Save.

    • To edit the scope of the blueprint:

      1. Click Open in the bottom-right of the scope box.

      2. Adjust the scope as needed and click Save.

  5. Click Deploy to send the blueprint changes to the device groups under scope.
