Issue Description
Getting "Guided Access Unavailable" error when trying to install applications on devices for Single App Mode. This can occur for a variety of reasons including but not limited to:
The Single App Mode configuration profile installing on the device prior to the setup assistant finishing.
The Single App Mode configuration profile installed on the device prior to the application that the device is being locked to is installed.
Troubleshooting Steps
Make sure that the application that we want Single App Mode enabled for is on the device before the configuration profile is installed. Using a smart group can help ensure the app and configuration profile install in the correct order.
Scope the app to the devices/device group in Jamf Pro.
Create a smart group that looks for devices that have the app installed with the "App Name" criteria as shown below.
Edit the Scope of the the Single App Mode configuration profile to contain the smart group created above.
