Adding a Mac App for Volume Purchasing

Step-by-step guide on how to add a Mac app for Volume Purchasing in Jamf Pro 11.x:

  1. Select Computers > Mac Apps

  2. Under the words Mac Apps at the top of the page, change the view from Jamf App Catalog to App Store

  3. Select New in the top right corner of the page > Mac App Store > Next

  4. Search for the app name > Next

  5. Select the Add button on the right side to add the Logic Pro app

  6. Configure all of your settings here ensuring we set the Scope accordingly AND under the Managed Distribution tab > check the box to Assign Content Purchased in Volume after gathering licenses from Apple Business Manager or Apple School Manager

Scope the application and save the changes then verify if the application installs.
