Updated over a month ago

Description

The Maximum Auto-Lock on iPad and iPhone setting in the blueprint provides the following options:

However, on the devices themselves, iPads do not have the option for 1, 3, or 4 minutes. If one of those are chosen it will disable Auto-Lock at 2 minutes and Auto-Lock will not be able to be manually adjusted on the device in the Settings app under General > Display & Brightness.

Configuring Auto-Lock in Jamf Now

In order to have an iPad's Auto-Lock option be enabled for selection, we must choose an option in Jamf Now that is available for iPads on the devices themselves:

  1. In Jamf Now, click Blueprints and select the blueprint that impacted devices are assigned to.

  2. Click Security.

  3. Click the pop up box for Maximum Auto-Lock on iPad and iPhone and select one of the options below.

    • "--" (i.e. Never)

    • 2 Minutes

    • 5 minutes

  4. Click Save Changes.
