Accepting Apple's Terms and Conditions within Apple Business Manager for Jamf Now

Description

It is necessary to update Terms and Conditions in Apple Business Manager after Apple updates a Software License Agreement in order for Jamf Now enrollment functionality to remain unaffected. For more information on Terms and Conditions, please see Apple's documentation.

Jamf Now will take about an hour to receive valid communication with Apple Business Manager after the Terms and Conditions are accepted. No further actions are needed beyond waiting for a successful Automated Device Enrollment sync with Apple.

Accepting Terms and Conditions in Apple Business Manager

  1. Log into Apple Business Manager with an administrator account to accept the updated Terms and Conditions. There should be a prompt that appears post login:

  2. Wait an hour for Jamf Now to receive a valid Auto-Enrollment responses from Apple Business Manager. Once this response is received, Jamf Now should no longer display the 'You must approve updated Terms and Conditions in Apple Business Manager' message under Auto-Enrollment.

  1. If after an hour, Jamf Now still shows the 'You must approve updated Terms and Conditions in Apple Business Manager', follow the steps in Resolving Automated Device Enrollment Server Token Errors to renew the Auto-Enrollment token to re-establish Auto-Enrollment communication with Apple Business Manager.

  2. If the issue persists post renewal, follow the steps below to confirm Terms and Conditions was accepted.

    1. Log into Apple Business Manager.

    2. Click the user logged in the lower-right corner and select Preferences.

    3. Click Organization Settings and verify the Last Updated time under Terms and Conditions.
