Description
A configuration profile with a Restrictions payload with "Only Allow Some Apps" selected under iOS & tvOS > Applications can block web clips from opening successfully.
Adding WebClips to App Usage Restrictions
The bundle ID com.apple.webapp must be added to the allow list for the configuration profile to allow web clips to open successfully.
Open the existing configuration profile(s) in Jamf Pro where "only allow some apps" is configured.
Go to Restrictions > Apps and click Edit.
Type
com.apple.webappin the App Name field and do not click away.Scroll to the bottom of the suggested apps list and select
com.apple.webapp(with the + showing).
Type
com.apple.webappin the Bundle ID field.Click Save.
