Description
Incidents can be used to report issues related to users and devices to other Jamf school administrators and to keep a history of issues.
Incident Types
To use incidents in Jamf School, first you will have to create incident types under Organization > Settings > Incident types.
Creating a Jamf School incident
These incident types can then be used in the creation of an incident, which is done following the steps below:
In Jamf School go to from Users > Users.
Click on the user that needs the incident registered.
Note: the user must have a device assigned to them in order for an incident to be created in their record.
Click Incidents on the left side bar.
Click Register Incident in the upper-right corner.
Fill out the pop-up form and click Register Incident.
Viewing Past Incidents
All incidents can then be viewed under the Incidents tab in the left sidebar and closed when action is no longer needed.
