Description
To enroll in Jamf School using Automated Device Enrollment, devices have to be assigned an Automated Device Enrollment profile. We can view if devices have a profile assignment under the status column under Devices > Automated Device Enrollment.
To view what's in the assigned/pushed profiles, go to Profiles > Automated Device Enrollment and click into the profile name in question.
No Profile Assigned
This status indicates the device is not assigned to an enrollment profile. You will need to assign a profile for the device to enroll in Jamf School.
Profile Assigned
The device is assigned to a profile. If the device where to go through the enrollment process it would enroll with the settings in this profile.
Note - If a device was enrolled successfully using Automated Device Enrollment and the profile assignment has been adjusted since the device enrolled then the status will show "Profile Assigned".
To verify if this is the case, compare the date of enrollment in the device record to the date listed under the Profile status.
Profile Pushed
The device has been assigned to a profile and successfully enrolled using this profile.
