Unable to Make Changes to Automated Enrollment device record in Jamf School

Issue Description

When trying to make a changes to an Automated Enrollment device record in Jamf School under Devices > Automated Device Enrollment > edit (pencil icon), Jamf School fails to save the changes made with: "Something went wrong. Our development team has been notified".

Troubleshooting Steps

Option 1:

  1. Go to Jamf School > Devices > Automated Device Enrollment > edit (pencil icon).

  2. Assign an enrollment profile along with the changes that need to be made before hitting save in the edit window.

Note- When making changes to Automated Enrollment device record, through the edit window, the record needs an enrollment profile assigned.

Option 2 (does not work for all cases):

  1. Go to Jamf School > Devices > Automated Device Enrollment.

  2. Instead of using the edit window, select the checkbox next to the device, then select a corresponding action for the change.
