Jamf Connect 2.45 Login Window

This article explains changes to the login window with Jamf Connect 2.45.

Description

Jamf Connect 2.45 introduces improvements to the login window, making the appearance more similar to the native login window for macOS 14 and beyond.

Changes include:

  • The Identity Provider sign-in window has been repositioned lower on the page.

  • The sign-in portal now has a larger area.

  • The Local Login, Shutdown, Restart, and Sleep buttons have been moved to the top-right corner.

Shutdown, Restart, Sleep and Local Login Location Change

With the changes to the login window in Jamf Connect 2.45, the Shutdown, Restart, Sleep and Local Login buttons have been moved to the upper-right corner of the screen.

Power icon:

Displays the Shutdown, Restart and Sleep Options.

Wi-Fi icon:

Displays the network status and allows users to connect to a network.

Computer icon:

Contains the toggle to bring up local login.

Note - for Okta or OktaIdentityEngine, local login happens: if DenyLocal is set to False or there isn't a network connection and Allow Local Fallback (LocalFallback) is set to True.
