Description
This article provides steps for initiating Jamf Pro upgrades for Premium Cloud instances running Jamf Pro 11.9.2 or later using Jamf Account. If your instance is an earlier version or you have Premium Cloud Plus hosting, please reach out to your Account team to schedule the upgrade.
Upgrading in Jamf Account
In Jamf Account, go to Solutions and click View details for Jamf Pro.
On the Instances tab, click Upgrade which shows below the instance's version.
Select the Jamf Pro version to update to.
Only N-2 are available. To upgrade to a different version, please contact your Account team with the version you want to upgrade to and a desired outage time frame.
Choose what time you want the upgrade to start: Immediately or at a desired date/time.
Please be sure to communicate with the rest of your team regarding the upgrade time as Jamf Pro will be unavailable during the upgrade.
Check the box to confirm the upgrade request.
Click Queue Upgrade.
Any users linked to your organization that have the Administrator privilege in Jamf Account will receive an email when the upgrade has started and when it finishes (or if it fails).
