Description
This article explains the current behavior of Apple Account management on devices enrolled in Jamf School. At this time, changing or removing an Apple Account must be completed directly on the device. This action is not supported remotely via mobile device management (MDM) solutions, including Jamf School, as Apple Account sign-in/out is designed to be a user-initiated process.
Changing the Apple Account on a Managed Device
AppleAccount changes must be performed manually by the user on the device:
On the device, open Settings.
Tap the user’s name at the top of the screen.
Scroll down and tap Sign Out (Apple Account password may be required).
To sign in with a new AppleAccount, return to Settings and tap Sign in to your iPhone/iPad.
