Description
If you recently made changes to your lock screen profile and the lock screen on the device is showing incorrect information this is usually caused by a sync delay or a configuration conflict in the Lock Screen profile.
Disabling and re-enabling the profile can refresh the settings and display the correct information.
Disabling and Re-enabling Profiles in Jamf School
To resolve the issue where the lock screen displays incorrect information, follow the steps below:
In Jamf School go to Devices > Inventory and select the device.
Click Managed Profiles and click Disable for the Lock Screen profile.
Wait a few minutes.
Enable the Lock Screen profile again.
Note: Ensure you allow sufficient time after disabling the profile for the changes to take effect before re-enabling it.
