Lock Screen Displaying Incorrect Information with Jamf School

If you recently made changes to your lock screen profile and the lock screen on the device is showing incorrect information this is usually caused by a sync delay or a configuration conflict in the Lock Screen profile.

Disabling and re-enabling the profile can refresh the settings and display the correct information.

Disabling and Re-enabling Profiles in Jamf School

To resolve the issue where the lock screen displays incorrect information, follow the steps below:

  1. In Jamf School go to Devices > Inventory and select the device.

  2. Click Managed Profiles and click Disable for the Lock Screen profile.

  3. Wait a few minutes.

  4. Enable the Lock Screen profile again.

Note: Ensure you allow sufficient time after disabling the profile for the changes to take effect before re-enabling it.
