Description
MAC address randomization is enabled by default on iOS and macOS devices, which can cause issues with network authentication and tracking. To ensure a consistent MAC address for network connectivity, you can disable this feature using a profile in Jamf School.
Disabling MAC Address Randomization with a Profile
Navigate to Profiles > Overview in Jamf School.
Select an existing Wi-Fi profile or click + Create Profile to create a new one.
In the Wi-Fi Payload, check the box for "Disable MAC Randomization".
Click Save to apply the changes.
Click Scope, adjust scope as needed, and click Save.
