Issue Description

Receiving this error when opening Self Service on iOS: There was an error enrolling your device: ENROLLMENT_STATUS_FAIL

  • Cause 1: There's an enrollment timer after it's installed, and if you miss that timer, Self-Service needs to be reinstalled.

  • Cause 2: No app configuration for Self-Service in Jamf Pro.

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. Check the app record in Jamf Pro to ensure the app configuration from the Jamf Self-Service for iOS page has been added and is complete.

  2. Exclude the device from the scope of the app record in Jamf Pro so the app is removed from the device.

  3. Remove the exclusion so the app reinstalls on the device.
