Jamf Pro Push Proxy Certificate Expired -- Unable to Renew

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Issue Description

Push Proxy not auto renewing on its own. When attempting to renew manually in Jamf Pro > Settings > Global > Push Certificates > Push Proxy > Renew, the page spins indefinitely.

Jamf Account password changed due to Jamf ID changes, Push proxy needed to be re-authenticated with Jamf Account information.

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. In Jamf Pro, navigate to Jamf Pro > Settings > Global > Push Certificates > Push Proxy.

  2. Select the Delete button in the lower right hand corner of that page.

  3. From the Push Certificates page, select New.

  4. Select Get proxy server token from Jamf Authorization Server followed by Next.

  5. Utilize the email address associated with the Jamf ID to authenticate at the Enter Credentials page, followed by Next.

24 hours after the Push Proxy certificate is created, check the certificate expiration once more to ensure it is automatically renewing. If it isn't additional troubleshooting is needed: Triaging Push Proxy Issues in Jamf Pro.
