Jamf Pro User unable to save Scripts

Issue Description

Jamf Pro User unable to save a script.

In Scripts it is required to have the option for a Category. If the Jamf Pro user does not have Category privileges there is no option to select a Category in a new Script

Troubleshooting Steps

Add, at a minimum, the Read privilege for Categories is needed for the Jamf Pro User or Group.

  1. In Jamf Pro go to Settings

  2. Select System and User Accounts & Groups

  3. Select the individual Jamf Pro User or Group we need to change

  4. Go to the Privileges tab then Jamf Pro Server Objects

  5. Tap Edit

  6. In the Category object select Read

  7. Click Save

Note: While scripts need to have an option for a Category, we don't have to select a category. The dropdown can remain at None.
