What does the "Ready for Enrollment" status mean in Jamf Now?

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Description

Auto-Enrollment > View Devices in Jamf Now, shows:

  • A list of devices assigned to the Jamf Now MDM Server in Apple Business Manager.

  • The Blueprint and user assigned to the device currently.

  • The enrollment status of the device: Enrolled or Ready for Enrollment.

The status of Ready for Enrollment (previously called Not Managed) means the device is eligible for Auto-Enrollment, but does not have an inventory record at this time showing the device is currently enrolled.

To have the device show as Enrolled and to create a record for the device under the Devices tab, the device needs to go through Auto-Enrollment.
