Description
If a device is not listed under Devices in Jamf Now, either the device has not been enrolled yet or it was enrolled and the device record was deleted from Jamf Now.
Devices showing under Auto-Enrollment > View devices are devices that are assigned to your Jamf Now MDM Server in Apple Business Manager or Apple School Manager and are eligible for Auto-Enrollment.
In order for devices to show under the Devices tab they need to be enrolled into Jamf Now.
Enrolling Devices with Auto-Enrollment
To enroll a device not yet activated into Jamf Now using Auto-Enrollment:
Turn on the device, proceed through device setup, and connect to a Wi-Fi network.
The built-in Setup Assistant will detect that the device is associated with Jamf Now, and it will automatically enroll as you progress through the setup assistant.
If prompted in the Setup Assistant, choose Setup Manually.
