How do I disable Guided Access on a managed mobile device?
Disabling Guided Access on Your Device
To end a Guided Access session:
Triple-click the Side or Home button.
Enter your Guided Access passcode.
If the Guided Access passcode has been lost or forgotten, there is no explicit way disable Guided Access Mode on mobile devices via Jamf Pro. Normally, we would recommend resetting the device but if the device is supervised, ADE-enrolled, and communicating with Jamf as normal, we can end the Guided Access session remotely by sending out a Lost Mode command. Once completed, verify the device is put into Lost Mode, then turn around and disable Lost Mode. The device should now be out of Guided Access Mode!
