Description
Occasionally you may need to clear out pending and or failed commands for devices managed by Jamf Pro. This can be a helpful step if a particular command is blocking other commands from completing.
Disclaimer: Use caution if clearing pending commands prior to Jamf pro 11.3 as clearing pending commands in UI will wipe out non-regenerated commands as well.
Clearing Commands from Devices' Inventory Records
1. Select Devices or Computers and click Search Inventory.
2. Perform a blank search by just selecting the Search button.
3. Select the Action button in the bottom-right corner.
4. Select Cancel Management Commands and select Next.
5. Select Cancel All Pending and Failed Commands followed by Next.
If you get any timeout errors please repeat the process two more times. With those attempts in Step 5 choose the Cancel All Pending commands and Cancel All Failed Commands one at a time.
