Description
Using Jamf Teacher with Jamf School allows for users to log in to Jamf Teacher using credentials provided by the school or automatically if the required conditions are met.
Conditions for Automatic Login to Jamf Teacher
When using Jamf Teacher with Jamf School, teachers are automatically logged in to Jamf Teacher if following conditions are met:
The teacher user has a valid Username, Email and Password in Jamf School under Users & Groups.
The teacher user is in a User Group with Jamf School Teacher Status set to "Allow" and is not in any User Groups with this setting set to Deny.
The teacher user is assigned to a device that is in the scope of the Jamf School Teacher app.
The app installed on the teacher's device must be managed by Jamf School. It cannot be downloaded locally.
After making a change to one of the settings above, it may be necessary to reinstall the Jamf Teacher app to reset the login criteria.
