FileVault Does Not Enable with Jamf Pro Configuration Profile on User-initiated Enrolled Computer

Issue Description

FileVault does not enable via configuration Profile after User-initiated enrollment.

Computers that are UIE enrolled need the Force Enable In Setup Assistant setting disabled.

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. Scope the FileVault configuration profile with Force Enable In Setup Assistant enabled to a smart group with computers enrolled via PreStage enrollment.

  2. Create another FileVault configuration profile with Force Enable In Setup Assistant disabled and scope it only to computers enrolled using User-initiated enrollment.
