Description

Jamf Protect macOS Security dashboards contain useful metrics and visuals of collected data from computers.

This photo shows how your Dashboard should appear in Jamf Protect.

Understanding Your Jamf Protect Dashboard

Overview

The Overview page in the Jamf Protect web app contains:

  • Detections - highlights new alerts from analytic and threat prevention events on computers

  • Apple Security - highlights insights and detections related to: XProtect, Malware Removal Tool, Gatekeeper

  • Computers - highlights key metrics for computers with Jamf Protect agent

For more information see Jamf Protect Dashboards in the Jamf Protect Documentation.

Compliance (formerly Insights)

Compliance Baselines are rules set that Jamf Protect can monitor and display a compliance status for the computer in relation to the insight.

For more information, see Compliance Baseline for macOS in the Jamf Protect Documentation.

Computers

The Computers page displays all computers in your organization with Jamf Protect installed and their connection status. Click on an individual device to see it's dashboard which displays all recent alerts, an insights report card, and the computer's current plan and version of Jamf Protect. From an individual computer's dashboard you can: change the plan, add labels/tags for sorting, request a check-in.

For more information and steps to perform the actions above, see Computer Management in the Jamf Protect Documentation.

Alerts

The alerts page will show all alert data (analytics, threat prevention database matches, removable storage control events) from computers if Jamf Protect is configured to send alert data to Jamf Protect Cloud.

For more information, see Alerts in the Jamf Protect Documentation.
