This article provides an outline for configuring and deploying Endpoint and Network Security (formerly Threat Defense) to devices and provides links to additional resources.
Configuring and Deploying Endpoint and Network Security
Setup UEM Connect (optional)
Once connected and syncing, complete the Group Mapping and the other UEM Connection Settings as desired.
Create an Activation Profile in RADAR. See Activation Profile Settings for additional information for the steps below.
In the RADAR Portal, go to Devices > Activation Profiles and click Create Profile.
Check the box of desired Service Capabilities to add them to the profile and click Next.
At a minimum select Security to be able to send policies for Endpoint and Network Security to managed devices.
Note you will not be able to adjust the service capabilities once the Activation Profile is created. You will have to create a new one in order to add a remove a service capability.
Select if you will be deploying the profile with or without User Identification. Fill out the fields as needed for your select and click Next.
Configure the Advanced Settings page and click Next.
Give the profile a name and if not using UEM Connect, identify a Device Group. Then click Next.
Review all the settings configured and then click Save and create once no changes are needed.
Click Create Profile.
Configure desired Security Policies.

Deploy to devices.
The deployment steps vary depending on if the device is managed or unmanaged, the OS type, and if we want to deploy individually or using a supported UEM solution.
Monitor reports and dashboard for reported threats.
