This article outlines steps to facilitate deployment of Jamf Safe Internet to ChromeOS devices using Google Admin Console.

Deploying Jamf Safe Internet to ChromeOS

  1. Create Device Groups in Jamf Safe Internet

  2. Setup UEM Connect for the Google Admin Console

  3. Complete UEM Connect Settings - most important in this step is Group Mappings

  4. Create Content and Security Policies for device groups in Safe Internet

  5. Upload certificate and DNS information in Google Admin Console

Devices enrolled in Safe Internet will show in Jamf Safe Internet portal under Devices > Device Groups. Please note that to protect user privacy, devices/users are not reported in an identifiable manner.
