When accessing a supervised device using Known Passcode access, you may encounter the following prompt:
This article outlines the steps required to convert your certificate file to the correct PKCS12 format for successful upload.
Exporting the Supervision Identity from Jamf School
Down the Supervision Identity certificate from Jamf School. This can be found under Organization > Settings > Supervision Identity.
Open Apple Configurator 2 and go to Settings > Organization.
In the lower-left corner, click on the (...) button and click Import Organization to import in the certificate downloaded from Jamf School
Enter in the password for the certificate. This can be found in Jamf School under Organization > Settings > Supervision Identity > Show password.
Once imported, select the certificate and click the (...) button again. Choose Export Supervision Identity.
When prompted, do not set a password and save this file as PKCS12.p12.
