Description
Once a device has enrolled, it will show in Elevate under:
Selecting a device will load the device record which contains:
Details: user, hardware, security, and management information
Groups: smart and static groups the device is a member of
Apps: list of installed apps and version
MDM Commands: command history and select remote management commands
Security (for macOS): timeline of security-related events
From the device record you can remotely send management commands to devices. The steps are listed in the Elevate Documentation.
Note - Device records are also visible in Jamf Pro under Computers > Search Inventory or Devices > Search Inventory. Additional Remote Management commands are available in Jamf Pro.
Frequently Asked Questions
Device has an MDM profile but is not showing under Devices in Elevate
This indicates the device record was deleted. In order to get the record to re-populate in Elevate, you will need to re-enroll the device again.
Device does not have an MDM profile and is not showing under Devices in Elevate
This indicates the device is not currently managed. Enroll the device to create the record and start managing it.
