macOS Content Caching Inventory Report Not Displayed in Jamf School

Description

In Jamf School, macOS Content Caching information in the device inventory is not updated through automatic check-ins. This data only becomes available when a manual refresh is performed on the device from the Jamf School console.

Manually Refreshing from Jamf School Console

To populate the Content Caching inventory field:

  1. Navigate to the device record in Jamf School.

  2. Use the "Refresh" command to manually trigger a device check-in.

  3. Once the command is acknowledged by the device, the Content Caching status will appear in the inventory details.
