Issue Description
When importing placeholders in Jamf School, you may encounter the error: "Could not find the user". This typically occurs when the user's location does not match the device's location in the placeholder import.
Troubleshooting Steps
Verify the location assigned to the device.
Confirm the user you're assigning to the device exists in the same location.
If they do not match, either:
Update the device’s location to match the user’s, or
Ensure the user exists in the correct location before importing the placeholder.
Once the device and user locations are aligned, the placeholder import should complete successfully.
