Permissions Issues When Attempting to use the MUT

Issue Description

When attempting to sign in to the MUT the following error is displayed: "The credentials you entered do not seem to have sufficient permissions. This could be due to an incorrect user/password, or possibly from insufficient permissions."

This photo shows the Invalid Credentials pop-up that you may be experiencing.

Troubleshooting Steps

  • Confirm the user has the correct permissions: User Privileges

    Note: It may be beneficial to create a brand new local Admin if it appears the user in question has the correct permissions.

  • Update the MUT to the latest version: Releases

    Note: Jamf Pro updates include changes to the API, and the latest versions of MUT are designed to support those updates.
