Why are Jamf Now apps disappearing from managed iOS devices post installation?

Issue Description

Apps are disappearing from Jamf Now managed iOS devices after installation.

Troubleshooting Steps

Check the restrictions configured on the device's blueprint to see if there is an App Usage restriction configured. and make necessary changes for the app to show.

  1. In Jamf Now, click Blueprints and select the blueprint the device is assigned to.

  2. Click Restrictions and click App Usage.

    • If Hide Some Apps is enabled, ensure the desired app is not on the list: If it is, click ... and select Remove.

    • If Only Allow Some Apps is enabled, ensure the desired app is on the list: If it is not, click +Add App and select the desired app.

  3. Click Save Changes.
