Description
Teachers can use created classes or lessons to apply certain settings and restrictions on student devices. This article explains what these restrictions are and what to expect from them.
Apply Settings and Restrictions on Student Devices
Allowed Websites: This functions as a web content filter that allows certain sites on the device. Any other sites not added to this list will be restricted.
Allowed Apps: This will allow certain apps on the devices only. Any apps not added to this list will be removed from the device home screen for the time restriction set. If there is only one app added to this list, the feature will function as a Single App mode restriction. This means the device will be locked to the one application during the time restriction set.
Restrict Certain App Genres and Built-in Apps: This will restrict applications in the app genre and built-in apps. For app categories visit Choosing a category. For a list of built-in apps, visit Apps by Apple.
