To ensure the Safe Internet deployment was successful, we can do the following steps to verify.
Verifying Successful Jamf Safe Internet Deployment
for iOS and iPadOS, verify if Jamf Trust has installed
verify the Safe Internet configuration profile has installed
For iOS and iPadOS: Under Settings > General > VPN & Device Management, VPN should show connected and More Details under the mobile device management profile will show the Jamf Security Root certificate.
For macOS: Open Profiles in System Preferences/System Settings and look for the Safe Internet profile and/or check Network > DNS settings in System Preferences/System Settings.
verify traffic is going through Safe Internet by visiting http://dns-test.wandera.com/
If not configured properly, the page will report 'Secure DNS traffic is not active.'
verify content filtering is working successfully by opening a page that is blocked in your policy. For example Facebook if Social is blocked or http://gambling.com.
We would expect to see the block message. If the page loads, there is an issue in the configuration.
