How to Assign Schedules to Custom Rules in Jamf Security Cloud

Updated over a week ago

Description

Custom rules in Jamf Security Cloud allows you to set specific time-based policies for individual websites or subdomains, providing more granular control over content filtering. Custom rules override content rules, meaning specific exceptions can be made for individual sites within a blocked or allowed category.

Example: If a content rule blocks all sites in the "Streaming Media" category, but a custom rule allows a specific site, videos on that specific site will not be blocked. Conversely, if a content rule allows "Streaming Media" but a custom rule blocks a specific site, the site will still be blocked.

Assigning Schedules to Custom Rules
