Issue Description
Jamf Now managed Macs will report the Installation Failed. Will Retry Later error when executing an InstallApplication command for an app that is already in the process of installing.
Error code reported by a device hitting this issue:
Error attempting to fulfill command InstallApplication - com.microsoft.Word; rescheduling as RETRY_LATER - [ { ASDErrorDomain:506 (Duplicate request) } ]
Troubleshooting Steps
Allow an adequate time for the Mac to complete the app installation. The Mac will continue to respond with the error code above until the Mac processes and completes the app installation already taking place. The installation time varies depending on factors such as network speed and app size.
Once the app installation is complete on the Mac, the Mac will check back in, process the remaining pending app install commands, and flip statuses. The status updates during this process are as follows:
Installation Failed. Will Retry Later...

Installing on device...
... to ...
Installed, Managed.
